NCC sells office project in Mölndal
NCC is selling an office project in Mölndal to Stena Fastigheter for SEK 868 million. The project is fully leased to SCA.

Centrally located in inner Mölndal, NCC is developing a building with distinctive architecture, excellent signage and outstanding access to transport links. The establishment marks the start of NCC’s development of the new Mölndal inner-city together with the City of Mölndal. The vision is to create an attractive city center with a mix of office, retail and residential premises, and to develop public spaces.
The transaction will be implemented in the form of the sale of a company with a total underlying property value of SEK 868 million. Leasable office space will total about 25,000 square meters. Earlier this year, NCC signed an agreement with the hygiene and forest industrial company SCA concerning leasing of the entire property. Occupancy is scheduled for December 2016, when takeover of the property by Stena Fastigheter will also occur.
The property will be a GreenBuilding and certified according to the international environmental certification system, BREEAM. This means that considerable attention will be paid to the building’s indoor environment, ecology and lifecycle, as well as energy and water consumption.
The sale will have a positive impact on earnings in the fourth quarter of 2016 in the NCC Property Development business area.
