NCC sells office section of high-rise building in Århus, Denmark, to KMPG for SEK 140 million NCC Property Development has sold the office section of the high-rise project at Bruuns Galleri in Århus, Denmark to the KMPG auditing and consulting company. The sale covers ten of the building's 17 stories. The sales price is about SEK 140 million (DKK 125 million), which represents a favorable development gain for NCC. The gain will affect NCC's earnings in the third quarter. Bruuns Galleri, which is being developed by NCC Property Development, is one of Denmark's largest construction projects. Located in central Århus, the building project covers a total of 90,000 square meters of commercial floor space. In addition to the high-rise building, a large department store, five large specialty shops, some 70 smaller shops, a movie theater with ten screens and a parking garage with space for 1,200 cars is being constructed. The high-rise building, which is included as part of Bruuns Galleri, is being developed in a cooperation between NCC and KMPG. The building contains a total of 13,500 square meters of office and residential space. KMPG is moving its Århus office to the high-rise, where 150 employees will work. Construction of the high-rise building has begun and KMPG will move in not later than April 2004.
