NCC sells property in Finland for SEK 142 million NCC Finland has concluded an agreement with the Finnish Paper Workers' Union regarding the sale of Plaza Presto in Helsinki for SEK 142 million, which will generate a healthy development gain for NCC. The property will be completed at the end of 2001. Plaza Presto is the second unit at Business Park Plaza in Vantaa, Helsinki, close to the international airport. Plaza Presto has 7,200 square meters of floor space, plus a connected garage with 180 parking spaces. The property will be completed at the end of 2001. Business Park Plaza consists of three equally large buildings that are connected to each other. In addition to Plaza Presto, the business park comprises Plaza Piano, which was sold to the LEL Employment Pension Fund in December 2000, and Plaza Forte, construction of which will commence this February. When Business Park Plaza is completed, it will contain some 40 companies and approximately 1,000 workplaces. "This transaction is in line with our strategy of offering investors development projects in expanding markets in the Nordic region," says Jorma Ahokas, Senior Vice President at NCC Finland. NCC Business Park is a successful concept for the development of office properties and is particularly suitable for expanding companies in high- growth sectors. The concept guarantees access to modern and flexible high- quality premises, combined with customized services and other forms of tenant support. The sale of Plaza Presto will be included in NCC Property Development's earnings for the first quarter of 2001, under real estate development.
