NCC signs agreement regarding purchases of portable worksite cabins and modular systems NCC and Kils Volymbyggen AB have signed a three-year partnership agreement covering purchases of portable worksite cabins and modular building systems for use throughout the Nordic and Baltic Sea region. As a result, NCC's machinery rental business will be able to reduce its annual investments while simultaneously receiving customized products and deliveries. The total value of the agreement is approximately SEK 150 to 300 million. Kils Volymbyggen will satisfy at least 80 percent of NCC's total annual requirements in all markets in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region. NCC and Kils Volymbyggen will make joint efforts to cut costs. The aim will be to reduce basic prices each year during the contractual period. "For the past few years, the NCC Industry business area has been highly successful in its work to coordinate purchases across national borders. By signing long-term agreements that apply to all of our markets and entering into partnership arrangements with suppliers, we will be able to significantly reduce our investments and costs. NCC is the company in our sector that has made most progress in terms of coordinating international purchases," says Hans Lindblom, Senior Vice President Purchasing at NCC Industry.
