NCC signs contract for St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim with order value of SEK 1,050 M

NCC Construction AS in Norway and the Central Norway Regional Health Authority signed a contract today for the second construction phase of St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim. The order is valued at SEK 1,050 M and the work will be conducted in partnering form.

NCC will construct three treatment building with a total floor space of 75,300 square meters. In total, the contract involves the creation of new capacity for a total of 638 patients. Preparatory construction work has already commenced and the entire project is scheduled for completion in 2009. Construction will be conducted while the hospital continues to operate fully. The contract is conditional upon a final decision by the Board of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority. The order for the project is planned to be reported during the first quarter of 2006.
