NCC signs letter of intent regarding major housing project in Norway

NCC signs letter of intent regarding major housing project in Norway NCC Construction AS in Norway and Ticon Eiendom AS have signed a letter of intent regarding the planning and construction of 430 residential units at Engersand Havn, in Lier Municipality. Since the project will be developed in different phases, orders will be booked in stages as each of the phases commences. The partners aim to sign a partnering agreement in September regarding the further processing, project planning and construction of 40,000 square meters of housing and berths for 230 boats. The partnering agreement will replace the letter of intent that has just been signed. NCC has accepted responsibility for managing the project and for providing in-house expertise. Engersand Havn is located on the northern side of the Drammen Fjord and will have a mixture of housing, with a focus on low buildings, a small-boat harbor, a beach, walking paths and recreational areas for the general public.
