NCC starts development of new office building in Finland
NCC has commenced the development of a new office building located in Espoo, Helsinki Metropolitan area. The office building comprises approximately 5,300 square meters of leasable office space.
The new building, Alberga Business Park Phase D is the fourth phase of the Alberga Business Park, which in total includes five phases.
“Finland is one of our main markets. We have focused on a sustainable and modern working solution and have been very successful implementing those. I’m very glad to start this new project in Finland” says Carola Lavén, Business Area Manager of NCC Property Development.
Alberga Business Park is developed by NCC Property Development and is situated in Leppävaara, Espoo, in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The location has a vicinity to a commuter train station, Ring Road 1 and good service offerings in the neighbourhood. The three earlier phases of Alberga Business Park are almost fully occupied and were completed during the years 2012-2013.
Alberga Business Park phase D will be constructed to achieve the international classification system BREEAM at a rating of "Very Good”. This means that considerable attention will be paid to the building’s indoor environment, ecology and lifecycle, as well as energy and water consumption.
The premises are also being developed in accordance with the Future Office by NCC concept, which is a Nordic concept to create attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers.
The project is being carried out on a proprietary basis and the construction contract will be registered among orders in the NCC Construction Finland business area during the second quarter of 2014.
