NCC Construction has been commissioned by John Mattson Fastighets AB to build 127 apartments. The homes are to be built at central Larsberg in Lidingö, Stockholm. The order is worth SEK 164 million and the project will be implemented on a partnering basis.

The project comprises two apartment blocks each containing 50 apartments, which will be built close to an existing parking building. In addition, 13 row houses will be built in two separate lines. Since the row houses will be of a lightweight design, they can be built directly on top of the particular parking building. Two floors and 14 apartments will also be added to an existing office block in the area. The project will start immediately in the form of project planning, while production is scheduled to commence in August 2006. The homes are scheduled for completion in May 2008. NCC estimates that approximately 50 people will be employed in the project, which will be registered among orders during the second quarter of 2006. Partnering is a structured form of cooperation in the construction industry, whereby the client, consultants and contractors jointly solve the construction assignment based on a cooperation characterized by openness and trust, and within which the professional skills of all of the partners complement each other in all stages of the project.
