NCC Construction has been commissioned to build 160 apartments at Liljeholmen, Stockholm. The customer is AB Familjebostäder and the order is worth SEK 210 million.

The project comprises two apartment blocks containing apartments of sizes varying from two to four rooms. The apartment blocks will be of slab-block structures comprising six and eight stories, respectively, built above a new 70-space parking floor. An atrium will be built between the buildings.

The buildings will have rendered facades and the basic standard of the apartments will be high, with parquet flooring in all rooms and fully tiled bathrooms. In other respects, the bathrooms will be factory manufactured and delivered as finished modules to the construction site.

The project will start immediately in the form of project planning and production is scheduled to commence in December 2006. The apartments will be ready in June 2009.

NCC expects that approximately 50 employees will be engaged in the project.

The project will be registered among orders during the fourth quarter of 2006.
