NCC has signed an agreement with Niam for the construction of three residential buildings with a total of 179 rental apartments in the Herttuankulma area of Turku in Finland. The order value is approximately SEK 240 million.

Construction of the first building with 52 apartments has already started and is scheduled for completion in 2024. The second building will have 67 apartments and the third, 60 apartments. All buildings are turnkey contracts and will have geothermal heating systems and solar panels.

“This project has been exciting to develop in partnership with Virtanen Yhtiöt, the company that manages the plot. We are also proud that Niam is starting its first rental housing project in Turku together with us,” says Esa Lehmusvuori, Head of Department at NCC Building Nordics.

NCC holds a strong position as a residential developer and building contractor in Turku. In recent years, NCC has constructed several apartment blocks in areas such as Harppuunakortteli, Kirstinpuisto and Gränsbacka.

The order value of the three buildings is approximately SEK 240 million and will be registered in the NCC Building Nordics business area in the fourth quarter of 2022.
