NCC to build 78 homes at Islands Brygge
NCC has been commissioned by PensionDanmark Ejendomme to build a complex of 17,000 m2, with housing units, offices and a parking facility. The contract is valued at approximately SEK 330 million.
“We are continuing the development of the Islands Brygge area, where we are already constructing several residential buildings,” says Palle Bjerre Rasmussen, Head of NCC Building Denmark.
The building is located in the new Havnebryggen property block, which is part of Islands Brygge. The centrally located homes are located close to Copenhagen and Fælleden. A pleasant site for an outdoor café is also to be developed, and eventually it will be possible to walk along the waterside as far as Langebro.
The complex comprises 78 housing units divided between three buildings. The apartments will have two to five rooms, with sizes of between 91 m2 and 170 m2. NCC will also construct an underground parking garage. In addition, seven office and retail premises of between approximately 100 and 150 m2 are to be built, as well as a supermarket of approximately 1,000 m2. The aim is for the building to be certified for sustainability according to DGNB, in the gold category.
Construction will start in July 2017 and is expected to be completed in mid-2019.
The order will be registered during the second quarter of 2017 in the NCC Building business area.
