NCC to build Arla€s new cheese warehouse for SEK 240 million

NCC to build Arla's new cheese warehouse for SEK 240 million NCC is the company that has been entrusted with the construction of Arla's new facility in Götene, a contract worth SEK 240 million. With a more than 100-year history and slightly more than 8,000 dairy farmers as its owners, Arla is Sweden's largest dairy products company. To satisfy customer demands for increased service, Arla has decided to build a cheese and butter distribution center in Götene. The new center will include a state-of-the-art high-rise warehouse for Arla's entire range of cheese products. In addition to inventory management, the facility will contain space for processing, such as the cutting and packaging of cheese and butter. The assignment will take the form of a cooperation contract with incentives. From NCC's viewpoint, the contract will result in employment for six salaried staff and 60 construction workers for a period of two years.
