NCC to build high school in Trondheim, Norway, for SEK 375 MSEK

NCC TO BUILD HIGH SCHOOL IN TRONDHEIM, NORWAY, FOR SEK 375 MILLION NCC has been commissioned by Sør-Trøndelag County Council for the construction of Byåsen high school and occupational training college in Trondheim. The order is worth approximately SEK 375 million (NOK 306 M). The school is designed for approximately 1,100 pupils and will include programs of both a general and occupationally oriented nature. The assignment includes construction of a library, a sports hall, a training center, an auditorium and other general facilities. The contract, which will be conducted on a turnkey basis, will involve construction of a total of 26,470 square meters of floor space. Work will begin in June this year and is scheduled for completion in April 2004. "The contract to build Byåsen high school is one of the largest projects currently approved or under way in Trondheim.
