NCC to build housing in Denmark for SEK 385 million

NCC to build housing in Denmark for SEK 385 million NCC Construction Denmark has signed two new contracts for residential construction in Copenhagen. The contracts have a combined order value of DKK 317 million, corresponding to approximately SEK 385 million. The first contract is for the construction of 112 residential units in the Ørestad district on behalf of FSB, a Danish housing company. Also in this district, NCC is to build an 850-square-meter preschool for Copenhagen Municipality. This order is worth a total of DKK 122 million, corresponding to about SEK 148 million. Construction is scheduled to start during the summer of 2004 and extend until the beginning of 2006. Under the second contract, NCC will build 62 residential units at Amerika Plads in the old free harbor district of Copenhagen. Also on behalf of TK Development, NCC will build hotel and retail premises in the district. In total, construction at Amerika Plads corresponds to an order value of DKK 195 million, or approximately SEK 237 million. Residential construction accounts for one third of the total order value. Construction is scheduled to start during the summer of 2004 and be completed by the end of 2005.
