NCC to build new highway between Lunner and Gardermoen, Norway, for SEK 229 millji

NCC to build new highway between Lunner and Gardermoen, Norway, for SEK 229 million NCC has been commissioned by Statens Vegevesen Akershus (the Norwegian Road Administration's department in Akershus) to construct a new highway between Lunner and Gardermoen. The assignment is worth approximately SEK 229 million (approx. NOK 187 million). The new highway is part of a general program to improve the infrastructure to and from Gardermoen Airport. The two-lane highway will be approximately 13 kilometers long and include a four-lane tollgate station. The assignment includes a 2,500-meter tunnel, nine bridges and two concrete culverts. NCC is the main contractor for the assignment. Work has already commenced and the highway will be completed in July 2003.
