NCC to build new shopping mall in Arendal, Norway, for SEK 180 million NCC Construction in Norway has reached an agreement with Sanden AS regarding construction of a new shopping mall in Arendal's city center for about SEK 180 million (NOK 170 million). The assignment, which will be conducted on a turnkey basis, includes construction work on the first phase of the project, which is in an area that has been used to date as a car park and a gasoline station. The new construction activities, which pertain to a total area of 18,400 square meters, are considered an essential part of efforts to upgrade the city center of Arendal. The shopping mall accounts for approximately 12,000 square meters of the project. In addition, 2,800 square meters of office space and 48 apartments, overlooking the fiord, will be built.
