Hjörring Municipality’s new retirement home will offer exercise rooms, an activity center, a medical center, café, daycare, an office and 96 residential units for the elderly with associated common areas. The total area of the retirement home will be about 10,000 square meters.

“By being involved in the project from an early stage, we have been able to contribute NCC’s broad expertise in the development phase, which has benefited the upcoming construction. In this project, we will also be working with local contractors from the surrounding area who want to be involved in the construction of this retirement home,” says Jakob Søe Lundgaard, Area Manager, NCC Building Nordics.

The project will commence in autumn 2022 and the home is scheduled for completion by summer 2024.

The order value is approximately SEK 230 million and will be registered in the NCC Building Nordics business area in the third quarter of 2022.
