NCC to build slaughterhouse in Denmark for SEK 340 million NCC Construction Denmark has been commissioned by the meat processing group Danish Crown to build a large pork slaughterhouse in the municipality of Horsens, in Jutland, Denmark, for approximately SEK 340 million (DKK 300 million). The contract covers concreting work and the construction of the entire roof, including design work. The new facility will be a very large pork processing plant, with a capacity for about 15,000 pigs per day. Work will commence in October and is scheduled for completion in December 2003.
