NCC to carry out major refurbishment project in southern Sweden

NCC has secured an assignment from the Akelius property company to perform remodeling and refurbishment works on a project in southern Sweden. The assignment is a turnkey contract valued at approximately SEK 540 million.

“NCC has extensive experience of remodeling and extension work, and has solid knowledge capital when it comes to the technical challenges that can arise in refurbishment projects. We have now been contracted to renovate a property in Akelius’ portfolio and we look forward to modernizing and adapting the property for a long useful life,” says Magnus Jarebrant, Business Manager, NCC Building Sweden.

The refurbishment work will commence immediately and is expected to be completed in 2024.

The assignment is a turnkey contract and the order value of about SEK 540 million will be registered during the first quarter of 2021 in the NCC Building Sweden business area.
