NCC to construct Fornebu Arena for SEK 477 million

NCC Construction AS of Norway has entered into an agreement with Fornebu Arena AS concerning the construction of a new football stadium and major-events arena. The order is worth approximately SEK 477 million.

NCC will commence construction in February 2007 and the arena is scheduled to be ready for football matches in October 2008. The other space for corporate and sporting purposes is scheduled for completion by March 2009 at the latest.

The stadium will have the capacity for 15,000 spectators during football matches, while the capacity for other types of activities will be up to 25,000 people. In total, the Fornebu Arena will comprise 22,000 square meters of floor space for corporate and sporting purposes.
