NCC to construct new nursing home in Trondheim for SEK 258 million

NCC Construction AS in Norway has concluded an agreement with the Municipality of Trondheim concerning the construction of a new nursing home. The order is worth about SEK 258 million and the project will be conducted in the form of a partnering project.

Work will commence in May and the nursing home is scheduled for completion at the end of 2007. The nursing home will be unique in that teaching, research and patient-treatment activities will all be located in the same premises. The building’s height will be the same as that of the planned new St. Olavs Hospital, which will be located right next to the nursing home. The project will be registered among orders during the first quarter of 2006.
