NCC to construct stages of Highway 45 for a total of SEK 558 million

NCC Construction Sweden has been awarded the contracts to construct Stages 12 and 13 of Highway 45 between Nödinge and Nol on the west coast of Sweden. The client is the National Road Administration Region in Western Sweden and the combined value of the two orders is SEK 558 million.

Stage 12 will comprise six kilometers of four-lane highway along the new routing of Highway 45 between Nödinge and Nol. The order value is SEK 344 million.

Stage 13 will comprise two traffic interchanges along the new routing. The order value is SEK 214 million.

Construction on the two works will commence during autumn 2007 and is scheduled for completion on October 31, 2012.

The contracts cannot be written until the customary appeal period has been completed.

The assignments will be registered among orders during the third quarter of 2007.
