Sätuna torg is located in central Märsta. The construction of Stationshusen is the starting shot for the urban development that is being planned in the area adjacent to Märsta rail station. A new town square with a mix of rental units, tenant-owner apartments, commercial activities and services will emerge here.

“We have had a close, creative partnership with Sigtunahem throughout the entire project planning phase for one of Märsta’s key future projects. The construction itself has now begun, and we are looking forward to creating, in partnership with Sigtunahem, a vibrant urban environment with homes and services in a fantastic location close to all transport links in central Märsta,” says Henrik Landelius, Head of NCC Building Sweden.

NCC’s assignment involves the construction of 62 new rental units, 45 new tenant-owner apartments and 3,500 square meters of commercial space. The apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The apartments will be constructed in accordance with the Sweden Green Building Council, Silver level, and have low energy consumption, which will enable low operating and maintenance expenses.

“We are looking forward to realizing our vision of Stationshusen in partnership with NCC, and we are highly confident that this will be an outstanding project,” says Göran Langer, CEO of Sigtunahem.

Construction will commence in the first quarter of 2022 and occupancy will begin in late 2024. The assignment is valued at approximately SEK 300 million and will be registered among orders in the fourth quarter of 2021 in the NCC Building Sweden business area.
