NCC to develop new offices for leading IT companies in Denmark for SEK 207 million NCC Danmark A/S is developing new offices for Aston IT Group A/S, one of Denmark's leading IT companies. The property is located in the expansive Teglholmen district of Copenhagen and will have a total of 12,000 m2 of floor space. The total investment is SEK 207 million, with occupancy scheduled for January 2001. Teglholmen is undergoing an exciting transformation from a dilapidated industrial zone into a state-of-the-art business park. NCC Denmark owns a total of 77,000 m2 of development rights in the area. Teglholmen is part of the expansive Sydhavn district of Copenhagen, where several multinational companies have established operations in recent years, including Nokia, Philips and Mercedes. A total of 600,000 m2 of office and residential space will be built. During the first phase of activity at Teglholmen, NCC Denmark and the Aston IT Group are jointly developing new offices in which Aston will concentrate all of its operations, which have a total of 600 employees. The closest neighbor at Teglholmen will be Gillette. The project has been sold to the Magistrenes Pensionskasse pension fund and will yield a healthy development gain for NCC Denmark. NCC Denmark has already developed a 15,000 m2 property for IBM at Allerød, as well as a 5,000 m2 property in Kolding and an 8,500 m2 property in Ballerup for WM-Data BFC.
