NCC to extend E6 highway in Bohuslän for SEK 203 million

NCC Construction Sweden has been commissioned to extend the E6 highway between Fläskeberget and Håby in the county of Bohuslän. The client is the National Road Administration’s Western Region and the total order value is slightly more than SEK 203 million.

The section between Fläskeberget and Håby is an additional stage of the highway extension between Gothenburg and Oslo. Construction will commence on October 1, 2005 and is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2008. The assignment consists of 5.4 kilometers of new highway, local roads and bicycle lanes. In addition to the road works, six bridges and road underpasses will be built. An average of 40 employees will be engaged in the construction project. The assignment will be registered among orders received during the third quarter of 2005.
