NCC to lease offices in Kungsbron to DTZ

NCC Property Development has signed an agreement with DTZ concerning the leasing of 1,067 square meters of floor space in the Kungsbron office property in central Stockholm. DTZ will relocate to the property, which was previously sold to Vital Forsikring, on January 1, 2009. The lease with DTZ will have a positive impact on earnings, which will be reported in the fourth quarter of 2007.

Kungsbron, which is currently under construction, will be a completely new office block, in which workplaces, stores and parking spaces will be assembled under one roof. NCC’s office project is strategically located in the heart of central Stockholm, just north of Kungsbron Bridge with direct connections to the Arlanda Express and Stockholm Central Station. Kungsbron will give life to a new part of Stockholm’s commercial center and be part of a larger development that includes offices, hotels and housing at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm.

“We are developing a new, modern office block with 18,000 square meters of floor space and excellent access to public transport. It is located between the World Trade Center and a new development that will become Stockholm’s largest hotel,” says Fredrik Hemborg, Property Developer at NCC Property Development.

DTZ is an international property company that offers strategic advice and operational support to property owners, investors and tenants.

Previously, a lease has been signed with Pressbyrån, which will open its store on January 1, 2009. The leasing of the remaining premises, ready for tenants in stages during 2009, is in progress and discussions are under way with several interested parties.
