NCC to refurbish property block in central Stockholm for SEK 293 million

NCC Construction Sweden has secured a refurbishment and construction assignment regarding the Beridarebanan 13 property in central Stockholm. The client is Ramsbury AB and the order value is estimated at SEK 293 million. The assignment will be conducted as a partnering project.

The refurbishment of the property block, on the corner of Drottninggatan – Mäster Samuelsgatan – Slöjdgatan in Norrmalm, central Stockholm, will result in additional office and retail space. The new block will comprise three new buildings around a glazed atrium. The concept will facilitate a flexible division of the property, which will have a total of 26,700 square meters of retail and office space. The project will be launched immediately and will start with the demolition of existing office premises and parking buildings. The retail sections are scheduled for completion by the Christmas shopping period in 2007 and final inspection of the entire project is scheduled for summer 2008. The assignment will be registered as an order during the second quarter of 2005.
