NCC and Hagfors municipality will, up to March 2008, formulate the final framework for the construction phase. This work includes an agreement on a target price for the school contract. After that, the actual construction assignment will commence, which will continue for two years until June 2010.

“The new school section will be ready for the spring term of 2010, while the refurbished section will be ready for the autumn term of 2010. During the autumn term of 2009, when the refurbishment commences, students will be relocated,” says Anders Johansson, Department Manager at NCC Construction in Karlstad.

The total investment for the school project amounts to SEK 230 million and includes building, land activities, planning, developer costs and interior design. NCC’s portion of the project is estimated at approximately SEK 190 million.
