NCC to refurbish shopping mall at Aker Brygge for SEK 90 million NCC Construction in Norway has concluded an agreement with the Lindstow Eiendom real estate company regarding the renovation of the Verkstedhallene shopping mall at Aker Brygge, Oslo. The order is worth approximately SEK 90 million (NOK 87 million). This refurbishment and extension project comprises the current premises for shops, restaurants, cafes and theaters. Following refurbishment, the shopping mall will have a total of 12,500 square meters of floor space on three stories. The assignment will take the form of a turnkey contract. "This is a project that requires advanced skills, as we will conduct extensive refurbishment work at the same time as the restaurants and shops remain open for business. We will do our utmost to ensure that guests, the public and retail customers are disturbed as little as possible during the refurbishment work," says Peter Sandrup at NCC Construction in Norway. Work will commence immediately and is scheduled to be completed in March 2005.
