Peter Wågström appointed new President of NCC Property Development

Peter Wågström has been appointed business area president of NCC Property Development. Peter Wågström is currently head of NCC Property Development Sweden. He will succeed Mats Wäppling, who is leaving NCC to become Chief Executive Officer of the technical consulting company Sweco.

Peter Wågström (born 1964) has been employed by NCC since March 1, 2004. He is a graduate engineer with a long background within the real estate sector, where he has held a variety of positions mainly involving business development, management and restructuring. During 1990-1998, he was employed by Skanska, where his assignments included participating in the Skanska subsidiary Drott’s listing on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. During 1998-2004, he participated in the restructuring of the real estate companies that occurred during that period in Sweden, which included Drott’s acquisition of Fastighets AB Balder. During 2000-2004, Peter Wågström was a member of Drott’s and subsequently Fabege’s Group management.

Peter Wågström will assume his new position on January 1, 2007. He will be a member of the Group’s Executive Management Group and will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
