Torben Biilmann appointed new president of NCC Construction Denmark

Torben Biilmann has been appointed President of the NCC Construction Denmark business area. Torben Biilmann, aged 50, is currently Vice President of NCC Construction Denmark with responsibility for such matters as strategy, operational development and residential investments. He is a qualified engineer and has been active in NCC since 1984 (in what was then Rasmussen & Schiøtz, which was acquired by NCC in 1996).

Torben Biilmann replaces Søren Ulslev, who is resigning from the position following the weak earnings performance shown by Construction Denmark. Until further notice, Søren Ulslev will remain active in the NCC Group with responsibility for special projects and as Senior Advisor directly subordinate to the Chief Executive Officer of the NCC Group. Søren Ulslev has been employed by NCC since 1980 (Rasmussen & Schiøtz) and has been President of NCC Construction Denmark since 2001.

Torben Biilmann, who will assume his new position immediately, will be a member of the NCC Group’s Executive Management Group.
