Torben Biilmann to leave NCC

Group management team member and Business Area President of NCC Construction Denmark, Torben Biilmann, will leave NCC on May 31.

After nearly 28 years with NCC, the past six years as Business Area President of NCC Construction Denmark, Torben Biilmann has chosen to leave the NCC Group to focus on new challenges.

On November 1, 2012, he will assume the position of President of the Danish construction company MT Höjgaard A/S.

NCC’s CEO Peter Wågström comments:

“Torben has, to his merit, turned around NCC’s Danish construction operations, which have reported excellent results for the past few years. He has also built a strong organization that is prepared for the future and I entirely understand that he wants to try out new challenges in his career.”

On June 1, the Deputy President of the business area, Klaus Kaae, will take over as Acting Business Area President. Torben Biilmann’s services will be at NCC’s disposal until November 1.

A recruitment process to find a successor has begun immediately.

NCC in Denmark comprises the business areas NCC Construction, NCC Property Development, NCC Roads and NCC Housing. In 2011, NCC in Denmark had sales of nearly SEK 6 billion and about 2,200 employees. NCC Construction Denmark constructs housing, offices, roads, facilities and other infrastructure in Denmark.
