DIAGENIC’s TEST FOR BREAST CANCER TO BE LAUNCHED IN INDIA ON THE 8th NOVEMBER 2008

DiaGenic’s partner in India, SRL Laboratories, has performed a thorough review of the test documentation, audited their subcontractor and independent studies with DiaGenic’s test to ensure adherence to quality standards at all levels of operations. All studies have successfully been concluded and both parties have now signed off the test for a commercial launch.

The launch date is set to November 8th. After 10 years research and with extensive clinical trials across three continents, this launch marks the first commercial availability of a diagnostic product from DiaGenic.
The test will help improve current procedures for breast cancer diagnosis, and is particularly suitable for early detection of cancer.

Improvement of current diagnosis of cancer is needed to reduce the 50% mortality rate among the 200.000 females in India that are annually diagnosed with breast cancer.
