Nilar has received a new order from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Nilar will deliver a energy storage bank to the client by the end of December this year and the solution will be fully operational in the beginning of 2017.

The deal concerns a 72 kWh energy storage solution that will be hosted by EPFL. The client wants the opportunity to run the system off-grid. Nilar will use a bi-directional 50 kW inverter from ABB as “charger” and all communication with the inverter will be done through Modbus TCP. The system also includes BMS-cabinets with two PLC’s for connection of 12 strings.
