Nilar nominated for an award at digital exhibition Solar & Storage Live UK
Solar & Storage Live is the premier exhibition for technologies at the forefront of the energy transition. With safety as a primary objective, this event has transitioned to a virtual format and scheduled to occur on the 2nd thru 4th of December. Nilar will be joining over 100 other exhibitors within the online expo. In addition to participating in the event, Nilar has the privilege of being selected as a finalist in an exclusive groups of award nominees. The winners will be announced during the online event.
The award for Solar and/or Storage Production Innovation highlights products released after June 2019. In this pioneering group, Nilar presented evolution of our current Nilar EC battery pack design. The product in development is in its final stages and incorporates the same proven Nilar Hydride® (NiMH) unique bi-polar design. The design is being upgraded to include Nilar’s new patented process that allows electrolyte replenishment through oxygen re-filling. The process means the battery can then be consistently used, re-used and replenished instead of repurposed or thrown into landfill. Thanks to the new patented process, the future Nilar batteries will be able to handle considerably more charging cycles and thus store and deliver far more energy throughout their lifetime.
