Nimo is expanding internationally

The international sales initiative that began last year under Nimo's own brand gave immediate results. During the year, the company's sales representative in Estonia Profiseadmete OÜ – sold more than 450 drying cabinets.

"The sales increase is primarily due to the attention Nimo's drying cabinets have enjoyed from preschools and the construction and service sectors. We will continue to establish our drying cabinets in the Baltics and our goal is to carry on growing along with the market. We will do this by focusing mainly on the private sector where there is already great potential," says Kadri Freiberg, sales director at Profiseadmete OÜ, Nimo's distributor in Estonia.

During 2018, Nimo increased its international sales under its own brand. Estonia and Finland both have exclusive sales representatives and distributors for the Nimo brand and products, and Nimo can look back on a successful first year in Estonia.

The most popular Nimo products in Estonia are the sensor-equipped ETS 1900 E Extreme, sold mainly to preschools, and the ETS 1900 E, in demand from construction companies for installation in new-build houses and apartments. In all, more than 450 Nimo drying cabinets were sold in Estonia during 2018.

"Kadri and Profiseadmete possess great knowledge of the white goods market and understand which customer groups need high-quality, energy-efficient drying cabinets. As exclusive distributors, they enjoy our direct support and backing. These are the main reasons for the success,” says David Larsson, marketing director at Nimo.

"Among other things, one of the biggest construction companies in the Baltics is a regular customer, and it accounted for a major part of last year's sales. The company installs our drying cabinets in its new-build modular houses around the region," says Kadri Freiberg.

Nimo's goal is to continue growing in both Estonia and Finland, while also initiating collaborations with further exclusive distributors.

"We're looking at similar collaborations in other countries where we can see the same market potential as in Estonia and Finland," says David Larsson.
