Nimo receives major order from South Korean construction projects
Nimo has received yet another major order from South Korea. A total of 1,240 drying cabinets will be delivered to two different construction projects, one in Ulsan City and one in Pyeongchang. The delivery will be made in the second half of 2018.
– Our custom concept of durable and energy saving products as built-in parts of the interior is perfectly suited for real estate developers in South Korea. Three years ago, we delivered 1,500 drying cabinets to two residential projects in Seoul and Busan City, and now another two construction projects have chosen our products. This, along with the country’s strong economy, puts us in a formidable market position, says Timo Taiminen, CEO of Nimo.
Nimo has received an order from South Korea for over 1,200 units of the ETS 1500F model. The drying cabinets are delivered to two officetel-buildings, which are office spaces combined with employee housing, and will be installed in the kitchens or living rooms.
– In South Korea, drying cabinets are often part of the interior and that makes design and finish extra important. We can customize our products according to the requirements of both the market and the individual client.
In addition to a built-in concept where the drying cabinets become part of the interior, South Korean construction companies see several other benefits with Nimo’s products:
– Our drying cabinets are market leading both in quality, durability, and energy consumption – that is why property developers enthusiastically choose our products.
Since the first order was received in 2002, over 10,000 drying cabinets has been shipped from Nimo’s factory in Hova, Sweden to South Korea.
– Our strategy to offer the best solution for clothing care to major new building projects has been successful for a long time, and we will continue to focus on that market, says Jang Deug Park, Nimo’s sales distributor in South Korea.
