”The ECO success just keeps growing”
Nimo’s new drying cabinet exceeds last year’s 50 percent sales increase
Sales of Nimo’s heat pump powered cabinet Eco Dryer HP 2.0 increased sharply in 2014 and the demand for the company’s Eco friendly and energy efficient products continues to grow.
– Our heat pump powered cabinet uses less than half as much energy as older drying cabinets. It’s now well known that our energy efficient products is an investment rather than a cost, and the significant increase in sales is proof of that, says Andreas Bjelkholm, Marketing Director at Nimo.
Projections show a continued rising sales curve for Nimo’s heat pump powered Eco Dryer HP 2.0.
Nimo started its efforts with developing green eco products in 2007 with the launch of the sensor-controlled Eco Dryer 1. In 2013, the heat pump powered Eco Dryer HP 2.0 was released on the market. It was an immediate success and sales for 2014 exceeded 1,200 units. So far in 2015, sales figures have increased sharply, and projections show that the curve will continue to rise.
– Projections show we will sell over 2,000 HP units this year, which means we’ll increase sells even more than last year. We’ve worked hard on developing the technology and quality for eight years and that’s led to the most environmentally friendly domestic appliance on the market.
A large part of the cabinets are purchased by municipalities that have realized the values of installing Nimo’s cabinets in their schools and kindergartens. It’s partly about the economic gain, but also about the fact that heat pump powered drying cabinets are highly suitable products in school environments.
– The cabinets emit much less heat than other cabinets which improves the everyday environment for both the children and the staff. Each unit is a closed system that can be placed anywhere and it does not affect ventilation.
The Swedish Energy Agency found that Swedish schools can save up to 29 million SEK each year on energy costs with the installation of Nimo's products.
– For a long time, we’ve worked with the vision of our cabinets being the products of a green and eco-friendly future, and our sales numbers indicate that the future is here, says Andreas Bjelkholm, Marketing Director at Nimo.
