Magnus Rosén appointed Nobina’s new CEO
Nobina’s Board of Directors has appointed Magnus Rosén as the new President and CEO of Nobina AB. Magnus Rosén currently serves as a senior adviser within the investment company Nordstjernan and sits on the board of the two companies Bonava PLC and Llentab. He will take up the position as CEO of Nobina on 1 June 2017.
‟It pleases me that we now, in good time prior to Ragnar Norbäck’s retirement, have appointed a new President and CEO for the Nobina group. With his broad knowledge within the services sector and his eight years’ experience as the CEO of a listed company, Magnus Rosén will make an excellent successor to Ragnar Norbäck, who after 13 years will be going into retirement when Magnus Rosén takes up the position”, says Nobina’s Board Chairman Jan Sjöqvist.
Magnus Rosén possesses long leadership experience and has held senior positions within Ramirent, BE Group and Cramo. Magnus Rosén holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of economics and is aged 54. He succeeds Ragnar Norbäck who, earlier in the autumn, announced that he will be retiring in 2017. Magnus Rosén’s employment will begin on 1 April and he will assume the position as CEO on 1 June. Ragnar Norbäck will remain CEO until 1 June.
‟The public transport sector is on the threshold of an exciting growth phase due to digitalisation and urbanisation trends and the constantly increasing focus on environmental and sustainability issues. With its position as market leader in the Nordic region, Nobina is far out in front in this development. I look forward to lead Nobina into the future, together with Nobina’s talented employees,” says Magnus Rosén.
