Nobina obtains investment grade credit rating from Fitch (BBB-, stable outlook)

Nobina AB, the leading bus operator in the Nordic region, has received an investment grade credit rating of BBB- with a stable outlook from the international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings.  

Fitch Ratings states that Nobina’s credit rating reflects the company’s “leading position in the Nordic public transport sector by bus with favorable market dynamics, operations under long-term contracts with limited market risk, track record of contract migration and fleet management and stable and predictable cash flow generation.”  

“The BBB- rating reflects Nobina’s financial situation and leading market position and creates better conditions for the Group to finance operations on favorable terms,” says Mattias Gelinder, Group Treasurer at Nobina. 

“We have now taken the next step in our financial profiling. It is important for Nobina to increase awareness of our stable business and our long-term approach to both our investors and our customers. This credit rating matches our expectations and confirms our long-term financial stability,” says Per Skärgård, Nobina’s CFO.
