Nobina won Skånetrafiken’s tender of city traffic in Helsingborg, Sweden, with approximately 80 buses and 200 new employees. The contract is valid for 6 years and is worth more than SEK 1 billion. Traffic starts in June 2013.

Nobina won the tender for the city traffic in Helsingborg with maximum quality score. The company currently operates traffic in the Helsingborg area and the new contract makes Skånetrafiken Nobina’s main PTA with more than 400 buses. Traffic starts in June 2013.

The contract is worth approximately SEK 200 million in annual revenue for 6 years, with no option of extension. The contract is based on a combination of fixed price and variable compensation (incentive) based on the number of passengers. The variable compensation amounts to between 30-40 percent of the total contract value. Nobina thereby has clear incentive to increase travel in the region, and thereby the Group's profitability.

The main part of the 80 new buses will be rented from Skånetrafiken and the new contract will therefore not result in any substantial investments for Nobina.
