The Board of Directors of Nokian Tyres plc has decided on the second instalment of the dividend based on the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting

Nokian Tyres’ Board of Directors has today decided on the payment of the second dividend instalment based on the authorization granted to the Board by the Annual General Meeting 2020. The second instalment of EUR 0.35 per share will be paid to shareholders included in the shareholder list maintained by Euroclear Finland Ltd on the record date of October 29, 2020. The dividend payment date is December 9, 2020.
Nokian Tyres’ Annual General Meeting, held on April 2, 2020, decided on the payment of a dividend of EUR 0.79 per share for the financial year 2019. The dividend was paid on April 17, 2020. The AGM also decided to authorize the Board of Directors to decide on a dividend payment of a maximum of EUR 0.79 per share to be distributed in one or several instalments at a later stage when Nokian Tyres is able to make a more reliable estimate on the impacts of the COVID-19 to the Company’s business. Based on the resolution of the AGM and today’s decision by the Board of Directors, the total amount of dividends paid by Nokian Tyres for the financial year 2019 is EUR 1.14 per share.
