In the second half of the year, Norway Pelagic had a production volume of approximately 208
800 tonnes with a total pro forma production volume during the same period in 2006 of 162
800 tonnes. Norway Pelagic thus attained a 33.5% share of the total landing of pelagic fish for
consumption in Norway in the second half of the year. The market share achieved and the
company’s operations in 2007 have been satisfactory.

The market situation in autumn has been marked by strong demand and stable prices. Norway
Pelagic has strengthened its position among large customers in Russia, Ukraine and Japan.
The import restrictions from Russia, imposed from 25 January, will not apply to Norway
Pelagic’s plants in Bodø and Sommarøy.

The basic quota for the Norwegian fleet, for Norwegian spring spawning herring, will
increase by approximately 250 000 tonnes in 2008, which is an increase of approximately
30% compared to 2007. Norway Pelagic expects continued positive development in 2008, due
to the development of resources, with a similarly favourable market trend.

Norway Pelagic Holding will present its Q4 results on 26 February.
