Novacura sets its sights on Norway
Gothenburg company Novacura is gaining ground all over Europe. In the past year Novacura has taken on 13 new employees in Sweden and Poland – and has now set its sights on the Norwegian market.
"We are seeing substantial growth right now, and this is due to a strong increase in demand for our Flow product," says NovaCura Managing Director Johan Melander.
Gothenburg-based IT company Novacura has had a really strong 2014. During the first three quarters of the year, Novacura has hired 13 people, eight in Sweden and five in Poland.
"It could be said that we have three legs; these are consulting, helpdesk and our software Flow, which we sell both ourselves and via dealers. And what we are seeing right now is that the Flow product's share is growing, and sales of Flow have risen sharply," says Johan Melander, MD at Novacura. He continues:
"We are now also seeing our solid sales work starting to pay off. We have long sales cycles, and the rewards we are now reaping come from work we began eighteen months ago.
Flow is Novacura's software for simplifying and streamlining company processes. Novacura Flow is a tool that is added as a shell on the outside of an existing business system and adapts it to make it more efficient. Based on the current situation, Flow is adapted to create a customised solution.
"We have made great progress with Flow over the past year. The product has become much stronger, allowing us to stand out from the competition. Our partnership with IFS Scandinavia has also opened up the market further," says Melander.
Novacura was founded in Gothenburg in 2005, and has in recent years made significant investments in the Polish market, where TRI Poland and Partnertech have become major customers. An exciting and expansive year now awaits Novacura.
"Right now we are looking to the Norwegian market, where we see enormous potential. The prospect list looks good in both countries, but perhaps especially in Norway, where we are seeing continuing growth in the energy and oil/gas sectors, where we are already strong now," says Melander.
"Establishing ourselves in Poland worked very well, and we will continue to set up subsidiaries according to our business plan in order to meet the increasing demand for Flow," says Johan Melander, MD of the Novacura group.
