Swiss Glas Trösch selects Novacura Flow for mobile logistics
Glas Trösch, a Europe-wide active Swiss producer and processor of glass, has decided to implement Novacura Flow as a platform for its mobile logistical processes.
Since company founder Johann Friedrich Trösch made a name for himself as a glass specialist in 1905, the company Glas Trösch has seen consistent growth and is now one of the leading producers of flat glass and glass processing in Europe. For its operations in Bützberg, the place of incorporation of the company, and at additional locations around Europe, the company was searching for a mobile solution that would help them optimize their logistical processes.
“Novacura convinced us by demonstrating the flexibility of Flow and how the platform would help solve our specific needs – for us, an extensive offline-capability is key in our warehouses where the glass sheets disrupt any internet connection. Furthermore, we can now leverage the business logic of our new ERP system with the built-in connector”, says Roland Lenz, IT lead at Glas Trösch.
With this implementation, Glas Trösch will be the first customer in the region for Novacura since the start of operations in DACH in 2018. Novacura Flow will go live with the implementation of Glas Trösch’s new ERP system at the start of 2019.
