The worldwide glass packaging leader O-I launches « Life Through Glass », a free photo contest on social networks
Share your love of photography and your love of wine and win a great prize in a new photographic competition organised by O-I, the world’s leading glass packaging supplier.« Life Through Glass » is a free competition to be run on social networks from September 25 until October 24, 2012 midnight CET.
O-I is inviting anyone aged 18 or over with a Facebook or Instagram account to share their pictures #THROUGHGLASS and have a chance to win. Highlight the sparkle of a bottle of wine. Look over the rim of a half-poured glass. Show us your talent through images of living with the joys of glass and wine. Share your impressions of this perfect pairing and show us the beauty of glass in all its glory.
Select your best shot, visit facebook.com/Glassislife and upload your photograph to the Instagram application using the hashtag #throughglass. Alternatively, you can post your picture directly on Instagram using the competition hashtag.
The 25 entries that receive the highest number of « likes » at the end of the competition will be reviewed by a Grand Jury composed of both O-I and non-O-I members. The jury will choose the 10 best entries and select the one that is the most artistic, unusual and creative.
The grand prize winner will win a Canon 600D SLR camera. The winning picture and the nine other finalists will be displayed in the wine capital,Bordeaux, at the end of November 2012 during a special mini-exhibition organized by O-I. The results of the contest will be released all overEuropethrough the group press relations agencies and social networks!
