OBDUCAT HAS FILED A STATEMENT WITH THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD CONCERNING INDIVIDUAL SHAREHOLDER REQUEST REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL EXAMINER
As previously communicated, an individual shareholder has filed a formal request with the County administrative board re appointment of a special examiner in accordance with the Swedish Company’s act. The County administrative board has offered Obducat its legal opportunity to file a statement concerning this request – a statement received by the authority today.
The Obducat statement in brief:
· Obducat questions the requested appointment of an examiner being located in Gothenburg. Since the whole examination process will be at the expense of Obducat, the company judges it to be in everyone’s interest that the County board appoints an examiner from the Malmö region.
· Obducat questions the interpretation done by the individual shareholder of the AGM decision, as far as the scope of the examination is concerned. Obducat is of the opinion that the AGM decision gives room for an examination of the period from the previous AGM in May 2003.
· Obducat is now stand-by for the County administrative board to make its decision and will submit further information once the decision has been made and Obducat has been notified thereof.

- I feel sorry for the company, and thus its shareholders, that most likely will have to face substantial costs for having the company examined yet another time. This is in reality already done on a continuous basis by the auditors, reporting on every AGM.
