Reminder regarding invitation to digital press briefing: Opera singers from around the world participate when Swedish Opera på Skäret stages Vincenzo Bellini’s Norma in the former sawmill

This summer, it's once again time for opera singers from around the world to take to the stage in the unique opera house, a former sawmill with world-famous acoustics, in the Swedish Bergslagen region. During a digital press briefing on March 20th, we will present all soloists and also discuss the production of Norma, which derives from the Italian bel canto tradition and the most performed opera by Vincenzo Bellini.

Participants:

  • Sven Niclasson, CEO and founder
     
  • Alexander Niclasson, Artistic Director and
    Director of the production Norma

     
  • Sven Östberg, Set Designer
     
  • Two of the main lead characters, who will perform
    arias from the opera Norma.

Time: Wednesday, March 20th, at 11:00-11:30 am (GMT+1:00) Stockholm

Practical information:
Following the press briefing, there will also be an opportunity to conduct individual interviews with the participants via Zoom, as well as with some of the other soloists.

Opera på Skäret is run by Kulturcentrum Ljusnarsberg, a non-profit foundation whose goal is to create an international opera house at Skäret and contribute to the development of the municipality's and region's cultural life.
