More positive results from tests with cut flowers

OptiFreeze and Syngenta has since the summer 2019 been running tests with treatments of roses within our common OptiFlower project.

The results are still very promising! We still see longer vase life but we also now see better color intensity, fresher leaves and better flower opening.

“5-7 days longer vase life is a game changer, but the other positive effects are also very promising. It is for example a common problem with roses that some flowers never open” says Ulf Hagman, CEO OptiFreeze AB.

The annual value of the cut flower market is approximately 400 billion SEK.

We will now expand the tests to more varieties and origins with the goal to secure the best recipe to use. We will also start searching for partners for the coming commercial launch.
