OptiGroup acquires Vangby A/S in Denmark
OptiGroup has acquired 100% of the shares of Vangby A/S in Denmark. The acquisition marks a first entrance to the Danish packaging market and will significantly improve OptiGroup’s Nordic market position for packaging, machines and services. The acquisition will further enhance OptiGroup’s ability to provide customers with innovative packaging solutions and the transaction is in line with previous acquisitions in Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands in the business segment. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Vangby, with a turnover of DKK 83 million in 2020 and operations in Denmark and Sweden, is a packaging specialist offering a complete range of machines for packaging. The company will become part of OptiGroup’s Packaging business area and will continue to operate under its current brand.
